…and boxes and boxes of camp supplies overtook the volunteer house this afternoon. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Colorado team has arrived! Was kind of overwhelming actually – a bit hard to be in the midst of it all. Kind of the same feeling when I walk into any store when I’m back in the States visiting. Just not sure how to cope with everything you see.
Now, in the Colorado team’s defense, they had 3 very different camps to plan for this summer. And, they received much of these supplies in donation. Due to these donations, which were over and beyond their specific camps’ needs, the camp facility itself will now have loads of activities, sports balls etc…that will remain there and be a blessing to other groups coming in and out of year round!
If you could pray about the whole rain issue…yup, it’s been raining for a few days now. As of tonight, the sky looks like it’s pretty set on gray – rainy weather for a good stretch now. Sure hope the sun appears by tomorrow afternoon!
Swedish team, if any of you are reading this, just want to let you know that the guys on this team found your Brännboll set. I think they’re feeling a little competitive and have informally already challenged all of you to a game. Just thought I’d pass the message along 🙂
Kids will be picked up a bit before 11am tomorrow. I can’t wait…
